ACR Automobile is deliberately narrow. We work on prestige, performance and luxury vehicles, and we do vehicle security, infotainment and automotive concierge — not general servicing, not bodywork, not tyres. That focus is the reason we can tell you which iDrive generation is in your car from the VIN, or why a stored Ferrari's battery matters before a tracker goes near it.
There is no public workshop. Our address is Addison Avenue, Holland Park, London W11 4QR, and that is where the business is registered rather than somewhere to bring a car. Every installation happens at your home, office or storage, and we arrive with our own lighting and power supply so an unlit mews or a barn with no socket is not a problem. It is a deliberate model: it removes the dealership trip, it means the car never leaves your control, and it is why we can fit inside gated estates and underground car parks that a workshop-based installer simply cannot reach.
We are a Meta Trak approved installer and it is what we recommend first, for three specific reasons rather than because of a supply arrangement. The ADR driver tags distinguish an authorised movement from a theft, which nothing else in the ecosystem does as cleanly — and it is the single most useful feature for a car that a valet, a chauffeur or building staff also moves. The tracking and immobilisation live in one approved system, so there is one app, one subscription and one certificate. And insurers recognise it without argument, which matters at the point of claim. Where a policy specifies something else, or where a Ghost II or Scorpion X is the better answer, we fit that instead.
Thatcham categories are the language insurers use, and the certificate we hand over on the day of fitting is what they want to see. We issue it at the appointment rather than posting it later, because a policy condition that is unmet for a fortnight is a policy condition that is unmet. Certificates are generated on business days.
Prices on this site are "from" figures — starting prices for the most common fitment, not fixed totals. Your firm price comes after we have checked the registration, and it does not move on the day. If a job turns out to be simpler and cheaper than the enquiry suggested, we say so; a fair proportion of our CarPlay work turns out to be a coding activation rather than a retrofit, and we would rather tell you that than fit hardware you do not need.
We will not fit an approved device to a car whose battery cannot support it without telling you first. We will not quote a Bentley or an older Porsche from the model name alone. We will not take on CarPlay work where the factory screen is too small for the result to be an improvement. And we will not claim a system defeats a threat it does not address — if a tracker is the wrong answer to your risk, we will say that even though it is the thing you asked to buy.
